The Brief

Reassuringly expensive.

Stella Artois already owned one of the great taglines in advertising: Reassuringly Expensive. We were asked to reimagine an old classic campaign, with the product up front and the feeling of decades past.

The direction: stylish, vintage, classic and detail-focused. Strong sound design. Nostalgia that nods back to the previous campaign without feeling like a rerun.

The Moves

What we actually did.

Concept, cinematography, producing, edit. One crew, start to finish.

Take 1

Product first

The bottle is the star. Close, tactile and lit like it matters.

Take 2

Sound as a co-director

Strong sound design carries the mood. This is a spot made to be heard as much as seen.

Take 3

A tagline, treated as new

We took a historic line and shot it like it had never been used, so nostalgia reads as confidence instead of a throwback.

The Receipts

What it added up to.

A single 30-second film that makes a decades-old line feel current. It's the kind of work that proves restraint can be the loudest choice in the room.
